Household Items: Cold and flu medicine, detergents, fabric softners, household cleaners, liquid potpourri and  Human vitamins to name a few.

Common Plants: Aloe, Bamboo, Bird of Pardadise, Easter Lily, Eucalyptus, Lily of the Valley, and Tulips to name a few.

Yes, and it could be deadly if untreated. If you suspect a toad has poisoned you dog, you should immediately irrigate your dog's mouth with water from a hose, rinsing the mouth out completely, then call your veterinarian.

The signs you would see in your dog occur immediately after exposure to the toad's secretion. You may see profuse salivation, pawing at the mouth, vomiting, shaking of the head, restlessness, and incoordination. If you look in your dog's mouth, you will usually notice that the gums appear to be fiery red in color. The dog may soon progress into seizures and, if not treated, may die from ingestion of the toxin.

Both puppies and kittens should start their vaccine series at 6 weeks of age, they continue with vaccines every 3-4 weeks until they are approximately 16 weeks of age, at that point they recieve thier last set of booster  vaccinations and they also recieve their rabies vaccine.

They will then come back each year from that point to get thier annual physical and yearly vaccinations .

Most of the time a dog''s breath smells because of dental disease, which left untreated can lead to other serious health issues. This is also true for cats.    The best thing to do is brush your pet's teeth as often as you can, preferably once a day. Use only Toothpaste that is formulated for pets. DO NOT USE HUMAN TOOTHPASTE. There are other products to help with tarter build-up if you aren't able to brush the teeth everyday. A  couple of products we recommend are C.E.T Chews and Oxyfresh Oral Solution.
