Heartworm Prevention is a Prescription drug and your pet is required to have a heartworm test with a negitive result to start a heartworm prevention product. Your pet needs to have a heartworm test each year to remain on heartworm prevention. If you break the monthly cycle for more than 1 month your pet will need to have another test to start the prevention again. Your pet needs to be on heartworm prevention once a month all year round.

Heartworm Disease is easy to prevent, but to treat the disease could be expensive, tramatic and risky.

There are different product to help prevent Heartworm Disease that our veterinarians would discuss which one is best for your pet.
